Transitional words

When writing essays, specially in standardized tests,  you need to form an argument and defend it.  The best way to do this, is by formulating premises, these premises need to be connected as you write.  You entail the reasons of your rationale, displaying the arguments you enlist. The way to do this is to mention the argument, explain it, give some examples, and then connect it with the next idea. Transitional words are used to do this. 

For example, you might say that X causes Y, because of V, W, Z.  Every time you purport a new idea, you need to use words like the ones in the list below.  I can give consulting advice on when to use these transitions, in order to make a valid argument, and an excellent essay.
